When you add or change the email on your Wise account, we’ll ask you to verify it. Just click the link in the verification email we send you to complete the process.
Verifying your email confirms you own the address and helps us keep your account secure. It allows us to:
Help you recover your account if you get locked out
Notify you of important changes to your account
Make sure you have full access to all of Wise's features
What should I do if I didn't get the verification email?
If the email isn't in your inbox after a few minutes, here's what to do.
1. Double-check your spam or junk folder
Sometimes, email providers can accidentally filter our messages. Make sure to look in your spam or junk folder first.
2. Make sure the email is spelled correctly
Go back to the Wise app or website and check for any typos in the email address you entered.
3. Resend the verification email
If it's still not there, select the Resend email option in the app or on the website where you are being asked to verify.
Good to know:
For your security, the verification link expires. If your link has expired, you’ll need to resend the email.

What if I've lost access to my registered email?
If you can't get into your email inbox to verify it, you won't be able to receive our verification link. You’ll need to change the email address on your Wise account first.
