The email address listed in your Wise account is how we keep in touch. You can change it from your settings.
I’m logged in
This is the fastest way to change your email. You'll need access to your old email address to confirm the change.
On the web or app
Go to your profile name or picture in the top corner
Go to Personal details and select Email address
Select Change email address
Complete the steps to update the email address
Add a new email address
Approve the 2-step verification
Go to your old email inbox and confirm the new email
Once you’ve verified the new email, you’ll be able to log in using it
I’m logged out and can't access my registered email
Use this option if you forgot your Wise password and can't access your old email to reset it.
Go to the Change your email page
Enter the phone number associated with the account which email you want to change
You can't use backup phone numbers for this
If there's more than one account with the same phone number, the self-service won't work, and you’ll need to call us
Confirm the phone number via the 2 step-verification SMS sent
Enter the new email address and confirm it via the email sent to the new email’s inbox
Set a new password
Upload a selfie with ID
A confirmation or rejection email will be sent to you to let you know if the change is completed:
If yes, your email will have been changed and you can now log in using the new email and password combination
If no, it's likely you’ve uploaded a poor quality image and will need to re-upload the selfie with ID
It usually takes about 10 minutes for us to review your documents and update your email.
For Wise Business accounts
If you need to change the email address for your Wise Business account, you'll need to give us a call. For security reasons, this change can't be made using the self-service steps.
I can't access my email or my phone number
For security, you'll need to give us a call so we can help you regain access to your account.
I didn't get the confirmation email
Check your spam or junk folder. The link is only valid for a limited time, so if it has expired, please start the process again.
I'm using a social login
Changing your email will disconnect your account from Facebook, Google, or Apple. You'll need to log in with your new email and password from now on.
