How do I download a transfer confirmation?

You can download a PDF confirmation for any completed transfer from your transaction list. This works as a receipt for your payment.

If a recipient's bank is having trouble finding the transfer, the banking partner reference on the PDF is the most useful number to give them.

Web

  1. From your transaction list on the Home screen, find your transfer

  2. Click the three dots to the right of the transfer

  3. Select Get transfer confirmation

That’s it — The PDF document will open in a new tab for you to save or share.

App

  1. From the Home screen, select the transfer

  2. Tap on Details

  3. Select Get PDF receipt (on the iOS app) or Download transfer receipt (on the Android app)

That’s it — The PDF document will open, and you can save it to your device or share it directly.


How do I download it in another language?

  • On the website: Click your name in the top right corner, then go to Settings and select Language and appearance.

  • On the app: You'll need to change the language in your phone's main device settings.

Once you've changed the language, the PDF will download in your chosen language.


Why can't I see the download option?

You can only get a confirmation for completed transfers. The option won't be there for transfers that are still in progress.


How do I get proof of a cancelled transfer?

You can't get a confirmation PDF for cancelled transfers. To get proof of cancellation, download a statement instead.


Can the recipient download the confirmation?

No, only the sender can download it. If your recipient needs the document, you'll have to download and send it to them.


What if my business address is wrong?

The confirmation shows the registered address on your Wise Business account. If it's incorrect, learn how to change your business details.
